And in cities like Rio, Sao Paulo, Porto Alegre, Salvador, Curitiba,... those stadia will not become white elephants. Look to the mega events organized in each of those cities. In sharp contrast to eg. Port Elizabeth in South Africa (a city of 240.000 people where I can't recall the date when a pop concert or anything of the likes has been organized the last 10 years). Like I wrote, I think Brasil should only have 8 stadia.
They should scrap:
1. Manaus 499 mio R$
2. Recife 472 mio R$
3. Cuiaba 454 mio R$
4. Natal 400 mio R$
